Cancellation Policy

Triple Crown Moving Systems (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a licensed interstate household goods moving broker (US DOT# 4411647, MC# 1733135). As a moving broker, Triple Crown Moving Systems does not transport your household goods directly but coordinates and arranges for the transportation of your belongings by an FMCSA-authorized motor carrier. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which a booked move may be canceled and how deposits are handled.
1. 72-Hour Cancellation Window
You may cancel your move within seventy-two (72) hours of signing the agreement and receive a full refund of your deposit. To cancel, you must contact Triple Crown Moving Systems in writing via email at info@triplecrownmovingsystems.com within the 72-hour window.
2. Cancellation After 72 Hours
Our brokerage services begin immediately upon booking, including carrier sourcing, scheduling, and coordination. Because these services are rendered on your behalf from the moment you book, the broker fee is non-refundable if cancellation occurs more than 72 hours after signing the agreement.
In accordance with 49 CFR § 375.505(h), an estimate or order may not be canceled and deposits are not refundable once the carrier has begun the physical moving services, including but not limited to: packing, loading, storage, transportation to and from the pickup or delivery address.
3. Cancellation After Loading
Services may not be canceled after your property has been loaded onto the carrier’s truck. Once loading has commenced, the move is considered in progress and all charges apply per the terms of the Bill of Lading.
4. Deposits
A deposit is required to secure your move date and reserve a carrier. The deposit amount is determined by the size and scope of your move and is applied toward the total cost. Deposit amounts will be disclosed clearly at the time of booking.

Please include your full name, move reference number, and the reason for cancellation. We will confirm receipt of your cancellation request and process any applicable refund.
6. Refund Processing
Eligible refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days from the date the cancellation is confirmed. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
7. Date Changes & Rescheduling
If you need to change your move date rather than cancel entirely, please contact your Senior Relocation Specialist as early as possible. We will do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests at no additional broker fee, subject to carrier availability.
