Terms of Service
Effective Date: March 16, 2026 · Last Updated: March 16, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website operated by Triple Crown Moving Systems (“we,” “us,” or “our”), accessible at triplecrownmovingsystems.com, and any related services we provide, including the coordination and arrangement of interstate household goods transportation.
By accessing or using our website or requesting moving estimates, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the website or our services.
2. Company Overview
Triple Crown Moving Systems is a licensed interstate household goods moving broker registered with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) under US DOT# 4411647 and MC# 1733135. As a broker, we do not transport household goods ourselves. We coordinate and arrange for the transportation of your belongings by FMCSA-authorized motor carriers whose charges are determined by their published tariffs.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use our website and services. If you are using our services on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
4. Services Provided
Triple Crown Moving Systems provides the following broker services:
- Arranging and coordinating interstate household goods transportation with licensed motor carriers.
- Providing estimates for moving services based on information you supply.
- Assigning a dedicated Senior Relocation Specialist to manage your move.
- Facilitating communication between you and the assigned carrier.
We do not perform packing, loading, transportation, or delivery of household goods. Those services are provided by the assigned FMCSA-authorized motor carrier.
5. Estimates & Pricing
All estimated charges and final actual charges are based upon the motor carrier’s published tariff, which is available for inspection from the carrier upon reasonable request. Estimates may be binding or non-binding as described in our Consumer Information page.
Price fluctuations may occur due to changes in shipment volume, inclusion or exclusion of items not listed on the original inventory, long-carry distances, packing changes, or other factors. Your relocation specialist will explain any adjustments transparently.
6. Deposits & Payment
A deposit may be required to reserve your move date and secure a carrier. Deposit amounts vary depending on the size and complexity of the move. The deposit is applied toward the total cost of the move. Accepted payment methods and terms will be disclosed at the time of booking.
For information about cancellations and refunds, please see our Cancellation Policy.
7. Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete information about your move, including inventory, addresses, and dates.
- Be present or have an authorized representative at both origin and destination during pickup and delivery.
- Review and sign all moving documents (estimates, Bill of Lading, inventory sheets) carefully.
- Ensure the carrier has safe and adequate access to your property.
- Refrain from including prohibited or hazardous items in your shipment.
- Have acceptable payment ready at the time of delivery.
8. Limitation of Liability
As a moving broker, Triple Crown Moving Systems acts as an intermediary between you and the motor carrier. We are not liable for any loss, damage, delay, or injury arising from the motor carrier’s performance of the transportation services. Claims for loss or damage to household goods must be filed directly with the motor carrier in accordance with federal regulations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Triple Crown Moving Systems shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, regardless of the cause of action or theory of liability.
9. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating any formal dispute resolution process, you agree to first contact Triple Crown Moving Systems at info@triplecrownmovingsystems.com to attempt an informal resolution. The parties agree to use reasonable efforts to resolve the dispute informally within thirty (30) days after written notice.
If the dispute is not resolved informally, the parties agree to submit the matter to mediation administered by a mutually agreed-upon mediator, with costs shared equally. If mediation does not resolve the dispute within sixty (60) days, the dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association.
The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all dispute resolution proceedings shall be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class action. All aspects of the dispute resolution process shall remain confidential.
